Vintage<br>Mitchell 400 spin reel<br>High speed version of the 300<br>This medium size spin reel was made in France in the 60s 70s, & 80s, & weighs 12.3 oz. It is in excellent condition mechanically but physically has paint loss in all the regular spots. It has a smooth drag, good anti-reverse, good bail, good gears and a dark blue<br>colored metal body. This reel has a 4.8/1 gear ratio and will hold 300 yds. of 8 lb. test, it is a good quality reel, it is a grade 8/9.<br>If you are not happy with an item, returns are fine for full refund minus shipping.<br>The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works.
