American LaFrance Dietz King Fire Dep't Red Oil Lamp Elmira, New York Fitzall Chimney 1914
This is a really nice American LaFrance & Foamite Corp. Elmira, N.Y. fire dep't lantern. This piece is 14" tall not including the handle. The base is embossed Dietz King Fire Dep't, the cap is in place and the wick turner works well. The chimney is Dietz Fitzall New York USA, Loc-Nob with a patent date of 3-10-14 and is in excellent condition. The lantern is red and is in great condition, possibly it has been repainted.
