GREETINGS!  I am pleased to offer a Victorian era, ca 1890 American made wall mounted wood and metal primitive servent's alarm in excellent condition.  It measures 8" high x 3.75" and is marked on the wood NOVELTY ELECTRIC CO., PHILA.  The heavy 3" diameter metal bell has a wire with ball clanger tucked on its interior and there are silk covered coil conductive wires attached beneath it with three terminals.  The works are screw mounted on what appears to be walnut wood.  There is no rust, and while everything appears to be intact and functional, this alarm has not been tested.  However, when the bell is tapped with a metal object the loud sound emitted has a nice crisp tone to summon help or to get immediate notice.  This unusual item is being sold as is with minor expected age, storage wear, exactly as described.  Please examine photos; questions are welcome and will be promptly responded to, thank you.
