Maxon AD200 BBD Analog Delay Rack Unit - Vintage
A previously used item that exhibits signs of cosmetic wear and is fully operational and functions as intended.
Analog delay by Maxon, A200 bucket brigade delay. The unit features 2 jack inputs - both working normally and ch 2 is switchable for mic or instrument. Very cool sounding pre-amp, inputs sound good and will distort if pushed with a nice transistor overdrive, remember, this is a pretty early delay unit, a clocked analog delay with two pre-amps. All old school technology. Footswitch in, dry output only or effect output with front panel controls for effect and dry level for the perfect blend. Input controls on both channels work cleanly, as does the tone control, boosting your treble or bass. The delay has both time and repeat controls and when you throw the time control around you get that wonderful staggered time base delay for those cool dub effects. Nice feedback, self oscillates, the repeat control works well. The sustained delay is a great effect and this goes into distortion nicely with a warm transistor buzz.
